Ham Radio
I’ve been involved with amateur or ham radio for a few years now and I’m beginning to refine the philosophy of operations, so here, if you will are the key aims that I have regard when operating. I have 2 rules that I shall be sticking to…….
1. Make the most of your station - Yes I would love a brand new kilowatt station with all the bells and whistles but its
not going to happen, with 100 Watts I plan to optimise what I have in the most cost effective way so I can enjoy what I
have
2. Put something back in - My beacon monitoring station will be the only g station that is providing HF propagation
information based on beacon monitoring that I can find, he intention is to build a self sufficient station that can
effectively provide propagation information for my QTH
